Rapid point-of-care urine screens provide negative results in minutes. Lab-confirmed urine results are typically available in 24 to 48 hours. Hair follicle and oral fluid results are generally available within a few business days.
Yes. Our mobile units and collectors can be dispatched to your job site for any type of test. This is especially common for post-accident testing, large-scale pre-employment events, and random testing at remote locations.
DOT testing follows the specific procedures, forms, and panel requirements outlined in 49 CFR Part 40 and applies to safety-sensitive employees in federally regulated industries. Non-DOT testing follows your company’s own drug-free workplace policy and can be customized. The collection and reporting procedures differ, and it is important that the correct protocol is followed. We handle both.
Your safety-sensitive employees are added to our consortium pool. Throughout the year, employees are randomly selected at the DOT-required testing rates. When an employee is selected, we notify your DER and schedule the collection. You do not need to manage the selection process we handle it all.
The result goes to our Medical Review Officer first. The MRO contacts the donor to determine whether there is a legitimate medical explanation. If the MRO verifies the result as positive, it is reported to your DER. We provide guidance on next steps based on your policy and applicable regulations.
